IAS Welcomes 11 Interns for Summer Program

May 26, 2015  (Monticello - Corporate Office)

Monticello, IA –Monday, May 18, Innovative Ag Services was excited to welcome our 11 summer interns at an orientation day in Monticello.

The kick off orientation day gave the students the opportunity to talk with the Management Group, learn summer expectations, and receive hands on safety training from Safety Director Thatcher Block. The 11 Interns join us for the summer as crop scouting, seed, feed, and operations interns at 11 different locations!

Over the past several years, Innovative Ag Services has offered numerous internship opportunities.  This benefits the students and our growing cooperative. The internship program allows the interns to gain real life experience in their area of study.  Opportunities are presented to network with fellow students, employees, and managers through day to day location responsibilities but also through roundtable events, and IAS Plot Trainings.

We invite and encourage you as our customers and members to introduce yourself to our interns as you are around the different locations, and we look forward to this upcoming summer!
