IAS Helps Fund the Construction of a New Beef/Livestock Building

July 15, 2015  (Monticello - Corporate Office)

Monticello, IA – Mike Duncomb, VP of Feed, presented a donation of $1,000 from Innovative Ag Services; (IAS) that was matched with funds from Land O’ Lakes Foundation for a total of $2,000. This donation was given to The Wyoming Fair Association in Wyoming, IA to help with the construction of a new Beef/Livestock building at the Wyoming Fairgrounds.

The total cost for the new building is estimated at $80,000 - $85,000. With a generous donation from the Jones County Cattleman and the current building fund, over half of the estimated cost has already been met. The proposed new building will be an 84x120 foot open sidewall structure with a 14 foot interior clearance. This will allow stall space for over 100 head, an area for fitting calves, and an open space that could be used for a show ring in the event of rain.

This building will be a great asset for the 4H and FFA youth. It will also be available to hold educational events for the entire Wyoming community, as well as Jones County.

Innovative Ag Services proudly supports the improvements made to the local communities within our trade area. IAS looks forward to seeing the completed project and the communities’ utilization of it.
