IAS Supports Delhi Public Library

August 27, 2013  (Manchester)

Rick Becker, Director of Transportation, presented multiple donations to the Delhi City Council for the expansion of the Delhi Public Library on Saturday, August 24th. Becker donated $500 to the project in hopes of getting employee matching dollars from Innovative Ag Services. His goal was exceeded when IAS decided to donate $1,000 coupled with matching funds from the Land O' Lakes Foundation for a total of $2,000. Our donations totaling $2,500 will help them relocate and renovate the Delhi Public Library, City Office and Police Office. This expansion will give the library extra room to house more computers, books and magazines as well as create separate areas for children, teens and adults. They are hopeful that daycares, preschools, Maquoketa Valley students, Delhi citizens and other rural areas will come to feel right at home in this new, bright and comfortable place!

Terry Harbach, mayor of Delhi, stated, “Our campaign to raise the needed funds for expansion is now in the home stretch. Innovative Ag Service’s gift along with gifts from other area residents, businesses, foundation grants and others will make it possible to relocate and expand the Delhi Public Library.”

Innovative Ag Services supports local projects which impact its members and employees and provide a benefit to the entire community.
