Innovative Ag Services Co. is a full service farm cooperative offering a complete line of supplies and services to meet all of your farm needs. We provide value-added products and services to over 5,000 members in the grain, agronomy, feed, energy and building supply markets. To better serve you, our 31 locations are conveniently located throughout northeast and central Iowa and southwest Wisconsin.
Innovative Ag Services was incorporated in 2005 to ensure that our customers had access to the best products and services available. Since our founding, we have grown in size and territory through multiple mergers and acquisitions and have achieved over $615 million in annual sales. Our more than 280 dedicated employees play an important role in this growth and success.
1969 All Star Coop in Hopkinton and Farmers Mutual Creamery in Monticello joined to form the Swiss Valley Ag Service division.
1974 Farley Location was built.
1978 Cascade Location was built.
1979 Farmers Mutual Coop Creamery in Center Junction joined.
1983 Farmers Cooperative Exchange in Central City joined.
1985 Andrew Coop in Andrew joined.
1987 SavMor Feed and Grain in Manchester was purchased.
1996 Thermogas LP in Preston was purchased. Joined Cenex Swiss Valley Energy in 1998.
1996 Swiss Valley Express Convenience Store in Dyersville was built. Joined Cenex Swiss Valley Energy in 1998.
1998 Cenex Energy in Dubuque, Edgewood, Marion and Palo was formed. Sold in 2001.
1998 Halford and Sons in Independence and Winthrop was purchased.
2005 Innovative Ag Services was formed in July.
2007 Packard Elevator was purchased in August.
2008 Howard County Equity in Elma and Alta Vista unified with IAS in April.
2008 United Coop Association in Elkader, Monona and Waukon unified with IAS in September.
2008 Big Wapsie Ag Services in Oran and Readlyn was purchased in December.
2010 Cuba City Feed Mill, Farmers Feed Mill (Hazel Green,WI), Southwest Supply (Platteville, WI) and Monroe Feed were purchased in September.
2011 Prairie Land Cooperative (Ackley, Alden, Allison, Austinville, Cleves, Ellsworth, Faulkner, Garden City, Geneva, Hubbard, Lawn Hill, Owasa, Steamboat Rock, Union and Williams), unified with IAS in September.
