Innovative Ag Services - Director and Staff Trip to Panama Canal and Argentina – March, 2017
The directors of Innovative Ag Services and several staff members participated in an intensive tour and educational experience of the Panama Canal and Argentina. The trip was designed to learn about the Panama Canal’s impact on global trade and to gain a greater appreciation of Argentinian culture, domestic market potential for grain and livestock products, as well as challenges and potential competition that may develop for Iowa agricultural grain, oilseed, and meat products. The trip provided an opportunity to meet with industry associations, ag businesses, and local producers, as well as sites to improve our understanding of the culture, policy, and customs of the area that are shaping Argentinian business and agricultural policy.
