Nothing makes us happier than seeing our members succeed.

Innovative Ag Services (IAS) proudly nominated Lillie Beringer-Crock of Beringer Family Farms in Cascade, Iowa, for the Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Award, presented this August at the Iowa State Fair. Lillie was recognized for her outstanding conservation practices and commitment to sustainability on her family’s operation.

Over the past several years, Lillie has transitioned her farm to no-till practices, added cover crops to every acre, and has been an active participant in IAS sustainability programs since their inception. Her focus on soil health, water quality, and long-term stewardship reflects a deep commitment to continuous improvement and environmental leadership.

The Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Award is a joint effort of the Governor, Lt. Governor, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The award recognizes farmers who voluntarily adopt practices that improve and protect Iowa’s environment while serving as local leaders who inspire others to follow their example. Each year, recipients are honored during a special ceremony at the Iowa State Fair.

IAS featured Lillie and her story in January 2025 as part of our agronomy YouTube series. You can watch that video here: Lillie Beringer – Stewardship in Action.
