IAS Supports Ellsworth Fire with Grain Rescue Equipment

Last fall, when an unexpected incident occurred at our Ellsworth location, the response was immediate.
The Ellsworth Fire Department, alongside the Ames Fire Department, showed up ready—bringing the kind of professionalism, urgency, and teamwork you hope you never need, but are incredibly grateful for when you do.
Moments like that stick with you.

They remind you that behind every call is a team trained to step into difficult situations without hesitation. And for us at Innovative Ag Services, it was clear—“thank you” needed to be more than words.

So, we made a commitment.

In partnership with the Ellsworth Fire Department, IAS provided a grain rescue auger and supporting power tools—equipment designed to help first responders act quickly and safely in grain entrapment situations. We also took steps internally, expanding our on-site safety harness inventory to be better prepared for the future.
This wasn’t part of a program or initiative.

It was simply the right thing to do.

Because being part of a community means showing up—not just when things are going well, but when it matters most.

And in Ellsworth, that’s exactly what this partnership represents.
