Innovative Ag provides many learning opportunities throughout the summer inernship program. The PLCP tour and educational presentations are just one of the many things IAS does to make the summer the best!

This year, IAS has three great interns (2 agronomy, 1 feed) all pusuing agricultural degrees at Iowa State University. Each year, interns get the opportunity to tour our ethanol plant, Pine Lake Corn Processors in Steamboat Rock, IA, as well as hear from some of our executive team on trending topics in the industry!

Jason Stephens, safety and maintenance of PLCP gave the detailed tour of the ethanol plant. He explained the different processes of the plant and how the grain is stored and transported to different areas of the plant.

Following the tour, interns traveled to Cedar Falls to finish up the day with presentations from Human Resources, Operations and Precision Ag management. It was a great learning opportunity for all!
