Leadership in Action: Building a Stronger Safety Culture

At Innovative Ag Services, safety is more than a policy, it is a commitment to our employees, customers, and communities. Over the next month, members of the IAS Executive Team will partner with Regional and Location Management to visit locations throughout our trade territory as part of a focused effort to strengthen our safety culture.
These visits are designed to provide an opportunity for leaders to spend time at each location, walk through operations, and engage directly with employees. The goal is not only to observe our facilities and processes, but also to listen, learn, and have meaningful conversations about safety. By working together, we can identify opportunities for improvement, recognize safe work practices, and reinforce the importance of looking out for one another every day.
A strong safety culture starts with communication, accountability, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Safety is everyone's responsibility, and creating a safe workplace requires engagement from every level of the organization. These visits demonstrate our commitment to being present, supporting our teams, and ensuring that safety remains a top priority across IAS.
As we continue these conversations, we encourage employees to share ideas, ask questions, and participate in discussions about workplace safety. Together, we can build on the strong foundation already in place and ensure that every employee returns home safely at the end of each day.
