Meet the Agronomy Intern!

Jul 22, 2022

Meet one of our Summer Agronomy Interns, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is a junior studying agricultural business at Iowa State University. She grew up on her family's farm in Alden, IA where she raised sheep. Elizabeth's passion for agriculture stems from her involvement in 4-H and FFA. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time in the show barn, being out on the lake and hunting!

When we asked Elizabeth why she chose to intern with IAS she said, "It's close to home and I know many farmers who work with IAS and say great things. I thought it would be a great opportunity to branch into a side of agriculture I've never been a part of."

If you see Elizabeth at an IAS location or out on your operation, be sure to say hello!

Are you looking for ways to maximize your crop growth and yield?

Sulfur plays a crucial role in corn's nitrogen use efficiency. Additionally, sulfur deficiency can cause weak or yellow areas in alfalfa fields, particularly over eroded hilltops. Sulfur in the sulfate form is very mobile in the soil, so it benefits from being applied in the early spring season!

To learn more about the benefits of sulfur applications for your fields and to get individual solutions from our agronomists, contact your local IAS today!
